How do I find my computer name?

The tech department will need your computers name for a number of reasons from pushing a printer to your machine to remoting into it.

To find the name of your machine, log off. Type in ".\" as the username, without the quotes. The name of your computer will appear under the Password field on the login screen.

Note this down before logging back into your computer so you can reference it in your Tech Ticket.
