How to do a hard reset on a Surface
You may need to reset your Surface if it is frozen, or unresponsive.
Follow the below steps to reset your Surface:
- Hold down the Power and Volume Plus buttons until the screen turns black, then appears with he Surface Logo.
- A new screen will appear with several options, choose Exit, then Cancel, then Restart.
- Your device is now restarting. Please be aware any unsaved work may be lost.
- If you have further issues, please contact the Tech Department or submit a ticket.
